Wheel Throwing Taster
Come along to our cosy and relaxing studio and have a blast with on this wheel throwing pottery experience!
Have you seen wheel throwing in action on Channel 4's The Great Pottery Throw Down, or maybe on the classic and memorable scene in "Ghost" with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore and wanted to have a go yourself?
On this 2 hour taster you will be introduced to throwing on the wheel, and carefully guided to create your own stoneware pots. This is a great experience for anyone looking to try out this skill before committing to a course or buying their own set up.
This taster is situated in a cosy, relaxed studio with a maximum of 2 students per lesson which makes this a great couples date, birthday experience, mothers/fathers day gift or a quality hang-out with your BFF.
What is included?
A 2 hour lesson with a tutor with 12+ years of teaching experience. This will include an informative demonstration.
Aprons, tools and materials are included.
Free tea and coffee facilities.
You will create 2 pots on the day which I will refine, glaze and firing your work later at the appropriate time.
What is not included?
Patrick Swayze.

This is priced at £55 per person. To secure a group booking for 2 people, please select a quantity of 2 in the box below.
Your work will be ready to collect from the studio 3-5 weeks time and you will be notified by email to arrange a suitable collection time.
I will glaze your work as part of this purchase, however you may want to glaze your pots yourself which we can arrange at £15 per person. If this is something you would like to do, please notify me with the booking form on this website and we can arrange this.

Your purchase secures your place – we cannot reserve places without full payment.
You have 14 days to cancel or change your booking. After this time, no refunds will be offered but bookings can be amended up to 28 days prior to your booking. After this time, no refunds or amendments are permitted.
This is an open style event and not a private booking so you may find there are up to 1 more attendee on the same booking if there are spaces left.
If we cancel or alter the session, a full refund or the option to rearrange will be offered.
Group bookings
Your purchase secures your group's place – we cannot reserve places without full payment.
Group bookings are for a maximum of 2 participants. Due to space, no more than this will be permitted.
Individual places on a group booking will not be refunded. If a member of your party can no longer attend, it will be up to you to fill this space or pay the ticket of the missing party member.
If we cancel or alter the session, a full refund or the option to rearrange will be offered.
If you cancel a booking less than one month before the class, the entire booking cost still applies. No refunds will be given.
